The team of The Dirty Picture have launched its DVD within two months of the release of the film.
“The Dirty Picture is the most pirated film in the history of Indian movies and if we had not come out with the DVD now then the piracy would have made much more money than it had already done,” producer Ekta Kapoor said.
Vidya Balan said, “I just knew we all were trying to make a good film.”
She further adds, “I was telling Milan (Luthria, director) that the film released two months back and now I want to watch it again. We have such wonderful memories associated with this film that I would be glad to watch it on DVD.”
Vidya has bagged maximum awards for her role as Silk in The Dirty Picture.
“I think the biggest award was The Dirty Picture. The opportunity to play Silk and to work with this team is the biggest award. Everybody have loved this film and we are grateful for that.”
